How do you get answered prayers? An answered prayer is when you ask the Lord for something in the name of Jesus, and it gets done over some time. It could be a couple of hours, a day, a month, or a year. It all depends on what you are asking for and the actions that you carry out in faith after requesting God.
Prayer is almost always a relational transaction. It is not business. It is a request made to a loving Father who responds to His children. Prayer is a relationship.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
God invites you to His throne of grace to find grace and help in the time of need. His supply is for you. He loves you and is a good Father.
Mark 11: 24
Jesus says that you can have or receive anything that you ask for. He is your guarantee of a supply from your heavenly Father.
Whenever you come to your Father in prayer, picture a dinner table that you are invited to. As you ask, take what you desire. Eat and let your joy be full. Your Father wants you to see Him as your source every single day. He is a faithful Father.
Mark 11:22-23
When Jesus was crucified on the cross and resurrected, he paid for all that you would ever require on earth.
He got for you victory over sin, joy, peace, healing, divine health, financial abundance, and more. They develop in your life by faith.
You need faith.
The good thing is that faith is in God’s word. As you hear the word of God, it builds up faith in your spirit man.
You need faith in the ability of God and in the truth that He wants to be good to you all the days of your life.
God wants to be good to you daily. He is love. He is the embodiment of love to you.
As soon as you start building your faith, one thing that must change is your conversation. As Christians, those who believe in Christ, we are called to speak faith over the natural circumstances of life.
As soon as you believe God and His word, you must change the way you talk about everything. You need to be conscious that you are a creator and that what you say is created and will come to pass. You need to say only what you want to see come to pass.
In Mark 11, Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it died.
The same applies to you when you are a man or woman of faith. If you speak life, you will see it. Everything is received when you say it. Consciously take all that you pray about. From the day you pray, begin to expect the result of what you have prayed about.
Do not take the devils’ doubt. Faith comes from God. Doubt comes from the devil. From today, begin to take the good gifts of God. Take it with what you say.
“…whosoever shall say...and shall not doubt in his heart...shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23, KJV).
The words of Jesus are truth. He says that whatever you say, without a doubt, you will have what you say.
If you doubt, you allow the devil to steal God’s blessing from you. Believe that you have what you say in accordance with God’s word then begin to expect it.
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Know that what you say is what you believe. So guard your mouth and be careful to say what the word says only.
The more you renew your mind to God’s word and say only what God says, the more active and effective your faith will become.
One hindrance to answered prayers you must get rid of is unforgiveness.
“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too” (Mark 11:25).
Forgive everyone who has hurt you for your sake. Do not block your prayers by staying in unforgiveness.
Say, Lord, I forgive everyone who has hurt me. Help me to let go in Jesus name, amen.
When you say this, the entrance into your life of God’s blessings will be unblocked and you can begin to get one blessing each day or as many as you can contain.
God blesses obedience. Faith works with love. Empty your heart of everything that weighs it down and fill it up with agape. Then your heart will be able to forgive and receive all the good things of God.
Now put this simple exercise to work. Begin praying and receiving daily. There is no greater adventure than a life lived in Christ Jesus. It is the best of the best.
